With the BMW 4 Series Convertible (F33) making its world debut this week at the LA Auto Show, BMW is now unabashedly driving fully uncovered test vehicles in public on multiple continents.

The 435i Convertible M Sport in Estoril Blue (exclusive M Sport color) was recently spotted in Germany while the 435i Sport Line Convertible in Melbourne Red was making its rounds in Malibu, California. Thanks to Dackelone and CPWINCH for the photos.

Production on the 4 Series Convertible begins this month and will arrive in US showrooms in the first quarter of 2014. The 428i Convertible is priced in the U.S. beginning at $49,675 and 435i model at $55,825 (not including destination & handling for both).

For full details on the 4 Series Convertible, see our Official Thread.

BMW changed the design around the trunk area you can't put stuffs on the left & right side on the trunk. Brilliant idea.

Especially in blue with the fat tires. Red looks better. On another note BMW made a huge mistake with those the side grills. Resembles the GTR style. Heck...even Ford has a car (I believe it's the Focus) that has side grills that look the same. That turns me off from the new models.

it looks quite good to me for a hardtop vert...

I guess they have to create a more complex folding system to make it look as good as the coupe and it certainly isnt easy.

Because on EU cars you have the option of changing the color of the "bimmerrang" when you order the car. I believe its a no cost option too.

US cars will just get pre selected colors depending on your option package ie: sport, luxury, etc...

I have not owned any E9x and likely never will. So this is an unbiased opinion:

Why does it look worse than the E93?

And seriously, why less trunk space with the top down?

The melbourne red sport line looks quite good. I don't particularly like the EB. Probably need to see one in the flesh to fully appreciate it though.

Looks like BMW may offer shadow line trim in the vert. The F33 top seems to flow better than the E93.

Roof being exactly same as of e93, it looks like the rest of the body got mutated. I think it ll grow slowly, but it doent look proportionate.
