MOG Changes to Beats!

I see that MOG is changing their name to align with the Beats by Dr. Dre brand. Is anyone else concerned that we might lose functionality with idrive?

MOG (in my opinion) currently offers the best integrated subscription based music service.

Just received an email from Beats Music this morning announcing the new service and have to say I'm very disappointed. MOG will be shut down on April 15, 2014, and the only special they are offering to keep existing MOG customers is a free month of service. It appears there will be no easy way to transition a MOG account (favorites, playlists, etc.) from MOG to Beats.

There is also no information currently available on integration of the Beats Music app with BMW's iDrive. The only information available on the Beats Music website in regards to existing MOG automobile and home integration is "There are ongoing discussions with existing and new partners." This should have been done beforehand so existing MOG customers would not lose current functionality.

Family plans are only available through AT&T which I'm assuming means you have to be an AT&T wireless customer which I am not and have no intention of being.

As of now the only other viable streaming music service compatible with iDrive is Rhapsody which I left for MOG due to the lower streaming bit rate.

So as of now I'm uncertain as to what music subscription service will be getting my money, but I'm thinking that Spotify due to their higher bit rate streaming is the likely successor, even though that would mean losing iDrive functionality.
