My BSM 335i Before and after Opti-coat

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
This stuff is amazing. Definitly keeps car cleaner for longer, still gets dirty but not as much as prior to opticoating. I highly recommend Alpha Auto spa/Brian Cheng to opti-coat your car.. he did the interior as well and vaccums and cleans your entire car pretty much at a very reasonable $$. I think hes spent over 15 hours on my car as you can see how dirty and muddy it was when I delivered it to him... pm me for his contact info. Thanks again Brian!

Wow! I really like the black on red. Much nicer than white on red.

theyre 2012 M5 replicas in matte black...they look so good in person too and keeps the original BMW look and feel of the car. In fact, a few people thought it was an M model or something mainly because of the rims

I thought for a second there he OptiCoat-ed the rims as well. But I'm sure it's a more specific product. Care to inform us what he used on the rims?

Nonetheless, great car! And tell the guy great job!

I had my wife's brand new X3 Opti-coated immediately after delivery. Its a good idea to have it done ASAP after delivery before blemishes get in the way and you won't need a complete paint restoration / polishing. Our wheels and plastic black trim was also Opti-Coated. They do NOT recommend glass. Its amazing. Its almost frustrating washing the car because the water and soap just slips off. i'm used to seeing the soapy water stay on the car. The car beads and sheets like crazy. I think it's a must have application. Never wax again.

What did he use for leather treatment on the interior? How does it feel afterward? Greasy at all ? i'm usually nervous to put leather product on a brand new car, but the dakota leather is a bit rough and dry... suprisingly so for ~1500 bucks

not sure what he used, but the shinyness went away after just a few days..its back to normal now. I know its some sort of UV protection..

thanks for the comments!

If you do the machined faced, get the one with the black interior, not the gunmetal interior.

gerbs EB2 m sport has the machined faced M5 Reps but with the black interior it just looks more aggressive, specially if your F30 is black/bsm...just my $0.02
