FSC emulator for kafas 2

Hello,

I retrofited kafas 2 and front camera (replaced windshield) in my F30.

Following options are now working fine:
* 5AC high beam assist (need to replace switch cluster steering)
* 5AD Lane departure warning (need to replace steering for vibration)

My used kafas2 come with following FSC:

I am looking for FSC emulator in order to get 5AS (active protection appID 190) and 8TH (app id 126) (speed limite info) working into my car !

Any suggestions ?

I am not aware of any Emulator for use with KAFAS, but you shouldn't need one.

Just Import and Activate your OEM KAFAS FSC Codes into new KAFAS2 module and write car VIN to KAFAS2, and they should be accepted. You need all 3 of them:

AppID 126 (7E) - Speed Limit Information
AppID 190 (BE) - Front Collision Warning
AppID 191 (BF) - Pedestrian Detection

so do you think that BMW can generate them ? (the car comes with zero option

)

And is it possible to import them with E-SYS ? I don't need any certifcate ?

Today, I will go to my local bmw dealer to know the price of FSC.

I am not sure if you can order from BMW or not.

If you can, it is simple to Import and Activate them with E-Sys.

Actually it in not possible to order fsc for Front Collision warning and Pedstrian Detection

I have SLI I would rather pay $500 for FCW and PW those are nice SLI still not really worth it ....wondering if one bought a KAFAS2 that had FCW and PW codes, replaced my KAFAS ecu would it come with the FsC and work?

If you buy KAFAS2 ECU, it will not "come with" FSC Codes. These are completely separate things and are issued by BMW AG based on you factory build's options, or any official BMW retrofit performed.

In this case, do you think that F30 can be compatible with kafas 1 fromF10 ? i checked wiring, totally the same !

KAFAS 1 does not need FSC Code, and SLI worked on European F10's with KAFAS 1, but no matter what was tried on U.S. car, SLI could never be made to work.

I have no idea if F10 KAFAS will work with F30.

I have no idea. These did not exist before KAFAS2 came out.

Hello, my car is a 2012 Vin WBA3D31090F239560 F30, the car has kafas2, HUD, CIC, SLI and heated steering wheel.
We found buying from a car crash, buttons LDW, LCW, ECU KAFAS2 and SLZ WITH AHB.
It can be mounted at me.

Did someone get any further with this? I'm about to retrofit the Kafas camera, and need to decide if I retrofit the KAFAS 1 or Kafas 2.

Kafas2 has nice features, but they all need FSC codes which cannot be bougth at BMW. Or they are very expensive.

KAFAS1 has less features (5AC, 8TH, 5AD) but does not need the FSC codes.

My car is an 2013 and officially needs the KAFAS2 module and camera. So I'm in doubt. if there is a Kafas emulator then I would go for the KAFAS2.
