Where should I be checking for smoke? I'm thinking gas cap, leak detection pump (NVLD?) and everything around in the rear passenger wheel well.

I believe the NVLD got an extended warranty on it, though I think I'm out of range for that. I did observe that my MIL came on when I started the car after sitting a day and a half. To my recollection, the leak detection pump / NVLD measures your evap system for leaks when the car is off.

I have been googling and can’t seem to find a definitive answer to my question. Do I need to pre fill the oil feed line on a turbo before installing it? Or would priming the engine be sufficient in filling the feed line before starting? I am keeping the turbo but replacing all the feed and drain lines. Would It be wrong to assume the residual oil in the old turbo should be enough to just prime the engine ?

Thanks,

The car definitely jerks when shifting into and out of 1st gear. I also hear a "thud" from the transmission when slowing down to a stop at a red light (Likely from changing 2nd to 1st gear). All the other gears are smooth.

I’ve been searching online and it sounds exactly like the noise in this video: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMechanic..._f10_steering/

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but the noise started after the front tyres were replaced.
Does anyone know what could be causing this noise?

Good day all. I have 2015 320i and the error for my windshield washer fluid keeps coming on. I fill it up, the light goes off, and a few days later it's back on. I have to assume I have some sort of leak. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the fix? I found a video of someone fixing a different model, but it was a rubber o ring on one of the connecting plastic lines.

If I understand correctly, the washer reservoir is on the passenger side behind the wheel well liner.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I already have the ECS Tuning Timing Kit and the Two Intake and Exhaust Sprockets in the mail arriving tomorrow. I have never done a timing system and need somebody to walk me thru via video chat. Can be thru Facetime or Google. Who is very experienced and done it before on their own time.

I also purchased the N20/N26 Timing Tool Set, Oil Lock Tool, and the N20 Flywheel Holder. Everything should be here April 10th.
