The 1M of a Advevo definitely felt more crisp and agile than the E90 M3. And that's a N54. Concluding: The N55 in the 335i won't be an understeered pig either, which my current 535i F10 actually is....

Go to a dealer and drive the N20 equipped 328i, it's a much bigger difference than N52>N54 because both of those were straight sixes. The four cylinder is not only lighter, it's shorter which means it is placed further back behind the front axle. I was at my dealer yesterday testing the 328i and was shocked at how good it is.
