Are they light weight, i.e. aluminum carriers? If so that will somewhat affect the acceleration and handling of the car, in a positive way. On my Vette, you can cut almost 50lbs of unsprung weight by switching to lightweight carriers, and another 20lbs by switching to non-runflats. Thats like knocking 250lbs of sprung weight off the car with regards to acceleration, braking and turning.
