Count your blessings. Glad no one was seriously injured. It's still a traumatic experience for everyone involved in the accident. May be prudent to keep a watchful eye on the kids as it probably takes time to get over the psychological shock.
They should probably increase the hunting season to thin our the over population in that area. Seems there is an over population of deers and moose through out the continent.
