Had a similar problem. The window was not coming down when opening the door because of the ice. Came back after letting the car run for a while.
More surprisingly, the spoiler was also stuck and kept giving me warnings on the highway (not to exceed 80mph or the car could be unstable). Had to break a lot of ice to free it up. BMW should probably have a defroster on the spoiler.
Anyone else experienced a spoiler malfunction?
