I found this post useful on the subject of brakes:

Original Brakes on 335dX, 335i, 335iX are:
Front rotor: 340x30mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons
Rear rotor: 330x20mm / Brake Caliper with 1 piston

Original Brakes on all other models are:
Front rotor: 330x24mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 1 piston
Rear rotor: 300x20mm / Brake Caliper with 1 piston

Pricelist Option (Factory upgrade) with 2NH M Sport Brakes (blue colored) will bring that to:
Front rotor: 370mm (Millimeter) / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons (for 328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335dx) (18" Wheels needed with this rotor in Summer and Winter!!)
Front rotor: 340mm / Brake Caliper with 4 pistons (models below 328i/325d)
Rear rotor: 345mm / Brake Caliper with 2 pistons (on all models)
(So the 2NH option one can order from the factory is different. It is not the same for a "high power" or "low power" model!
High power models (328i, 335i, 325d, 330d, 335dx) get 370mm diameter rotor in the front. Others get 340mm rotor in the front. But the brake caliper will always be blue color)

For all the original brakes with 340mm rotors (335i, 335iX, 335dx) one can buy aftermarket original BMW replacement brake rotors in dimple drilled and slotted flavor.
Front rotor: 340mm = Part Number 34 10 6 797 602

For the factory upgrade with 2NH M Sport Brakes (blue colored) one can also buy aftermarket original BMW replacement brake rotors in dimple drilled and slotted flavor.
Front rotor: 370mm = Part Number 34 10 6 797 603 (18" Wheels needed with this rotor in Summer and Winter!!)
Or
Front rotor: 340mm = Part Number 34 10 6 797 602
(for those cars where the 2NH option just gives an upgrade to 340mm rotors. All below 328i, 325d))

Rear rotor: 345mm (all models) = Part Number 34 20 6 797 598

So and now what about the "M Performance Brakes"?
For a "high power" car owner (328i, 335i, 330d, 335dx):
Basically they are the same as if one would order the 2NH option and then aftermarket change to the rotors to the BMW replacement brake rotors in dimple drilled and slotted flavor.

For a "low power" car owner (models below 328i, 325d):
It's a much bigger upgrade. As they get 370mm front rotors instead of just a 340mm front rotors they would get by the 2NH Sport Brake Option for those models.

So if one is looking for dimple drilled and slotted front and rear rotors, and brake rotors with 370mm in front and 345mm in rear. M Performance Brakes is your choice.
They come in different caliper colors: Yellow, Orange, Red

M Performance Brakes need 18" Wheels in Summer and Winter

M Performance Power Kit (for 330d and 335dX only):
Needs a brake upgrade to S2NHA M Sport Brakes or 18" M Performance Brake!

Front rotor, weight comparision (per piece):
34 11 6 792 223 Standard rotor 340x30mm
10.2 Kilogramm / 22.2 Pounds (weighed my original rotor)

34 10 6 797 602 Slotted/drilled rotor 340x30mm
10.0 Kilogramm / 22 Pounds

34 10 6 797 606 Standard rotor 370x30mm (S2NHA Standard rotor for 335i)
16.50 Kilogramm / 36.4 Pounds (as listed in the parts catalog. probably a typo! Difference on size/volume compared to 340x30 is about 19%. So the calculated weight for the 370x30 is about 11.95 Kilogramm / 26.4 Pounds)

34 10 6 797 603 Slotted/drilled rotor 370x30mm (S2NHA Upgrade rotor or Standard 18" M Perfomance Brake rotor)
11.88 Kilogramm / 26.2 Pounds
