There's no way the factory would deliberately fit a heated wheel to a car without that option. Have you had your car from new?
Is this supposed wheel heater plug plugged into the wheel controller module? If so you must already have the right module with the connector for the heated wheel?

This is why I say it would be mental if so. I got it off a guy who had it from brand new, I actually mentioned about the wheel not being heated when I bought it and he said if it was an option he would have chose it because he lived in scotland but it wasn't at the time. He pretty much chose every option on the list except sunroof and elec seats. How do I upload pics? Sorry for asking lol. Yes it's plugged in. I've actually just removed the outer trim just to have a better look at the module. It's all connected up.
