So if you get into an accident within the USA and the tires might be part of the situation.... you're SOL with insurance.... or just sue the company that mounted the tires... unless they smartly had you sign a waiver about it being
illegal to use non-DOT approved tires on public roadways.
Look, i could care less about the argument going on here, yet DOT approval is a real factor that could have serious consequences. Now if this is ONLY for track use, then slicks would be a far better option in the dry to maximize grip potential.
