It's the black grills that look particularly bad on the new 3, they just look like an over sized pair of collagen filled lips due to the shape as much as the size  .. I can probably get used to them in crome though. Although the new M340i grills are hideous!
The new 7 series almost looks like a grill with wheels. |
I saw several of each at Coopers, and in person the black grilles definitely look best, especially on a black car!
