Unless your intake manifold is melted (rare and severe scenario) , I'd be searching for popped hoses or damaged intercoolers.
Do not drive the car like that. It will be VERY obvious if you have a melted intake manifold. You need to inspect engine and intake manifold, under engine cover. And then trace the boost pipes for a leak.

Also, since the egr cooler recall is likely not related to your issue, I wouldn't take it to the dealer for that, or else you will see a big bill.
Maybe this could be the issue. WTH!
