BMW branded 0w-20 falls under the European specification of ACEA A1/B1. Pennzoil 0w-20 Ultra Platinum meets that spec, so you are good there if that’s what you choose to use. It wouldn’t surprise me if Pennzoil Ultra Platinum (or the European equivalent
from Shell, which owns Pennzoil ) is what the original fill was. That said, are you sure that’s what you should be using? I downloaded the
owners manual for your car, and recommendations are for viscosities from 0w-30 up to 5w-40.
