Also for the launch control being more aggressive, could I tune the launch control to a point where it's less than stock? Whenever I try launch control I just spin for 3 seconds, before gripping hard. Thus my launch control is useless right now even on brand new Michelin sport A/S 3+. RWD, running MHD stage 2 with downpipe and intake.
For the first question: it depends on your engine tune.
The explanation I got was that with the OEM map on the transmission there's a torque limiter in 3 and 6 gear. Why in those I don't know.
That's removed with xHP.
Then there's a torque limiter on the gearbox in general. As I recall it, it is at 640nm on the 8HP50.
If the engine delivers more than that the transmission will tell the engine to cut back.
That limit is by xHP software changed to 1000nm.
In my case I will get full use of the 750nm the engine can deliver and not just the 640nm from factory map
