Hi Folks,

as the title suggests, i would like to root my HU. Snapdragon 425 2/32G quad core android 10. (advertised as MSM8917 chip)

anyone have one of these units and been able to root it successfully?

bit worried about bricking. i have rooted and flashed many, many, droid ATV boxes, and have always had an image to recover so have been a bit gung-ho with those, and they cost a lot less than my HU. If i screw the HU doing trail and error with diff rooting apps, not so confident i will be able to recover...
