You are brave. I have yet to replace the Valve cover; I am thinking of pairing that with a timing chain job near or at 100K miles. That job I might hire out. Timing scares me, but so did doing rod bearings, and after loads of research, job done!


I see some minor scoring on the camshaft where the lobes make contact, but to my novice eye, it doesn't look so bad.
