I'm new to the forum so I apologize if I'm asking in the wrong place. I recently got a 2019 440i F33. I'm loving it so far, but I'd like to upgrade the wheel to something a bit nicer looking (I have
this one right now). I want to get an M Sport wheel, but I have a few concerns about compatibility.
1. My car has active cruise control, so I have two extra buttons on the left side of the wheel to control following distance. The wheels that I see for sale so far do not have these buttons. Is there an appropriate cluster that I can purchase separately and just drop in?
2. My car has lane departure, so there's a vibration module in the steering wheel. From what I understand, the module can be purchased separately. Is this correct?
Assuming that I have the correct wheel with the right buttons and/or vibration module, would the installation simply be plug and play? Or would coding be required?
