Yes I am as serious as a heart attack. Most have said it is under an hour to install. That should be no more than $100. I like to work on my own car so why waste money on a shop? |
Fair enough, I like to work on my car too, in fact I just installed my VRSF catless DP last week, it's a pain in the ass without a lift. It's a 1 hour MINIMUM job if done right, definitely more if you've never done the job before. That is unless you're not counting time to get car in air, remove 900 8mm bolts to remove belly pan, swap o2 sensors, button everything back up, etc.
Regardless there's going to be a minimum cost that makes a job worth while for a reputable shop to put your car up on the lift. If you become a regular maybe they'll make exceptions.
