big bump…

what is the deal with these in terms on the BMW type jacking locations on the sills?

As far as I understand it, “double stacking” of rubber blocks is a big no no when lifting cars.

Obviously the quick jacks come with a selection of large enough solid rubber blocks - but my question is, are these actually suitable to put under the OEM jacking points, without crushing / damaging the plastic blocks under the side skirts?

I have rubber jack pad adapters that can be used with a normal trolley jack, but they probably aren’t “tall” enough themselves to sit inside the recessed area on the quick jacks where the rubber blocks are meant to sit and then engage in the jack blocks without the frame of the quick jack hitting the sills.

So, in summary, is the plastic jacking point at risk of being damaged by the quick jack large rubber blocks that likely don’t fit inside the OEM jacking points like the jack pad adapters do?

Hope this makes sense!
