The tax is a total rip off. If the tax was for three years it would be palatable as a lot of people change after three years and the government know this why they make it Five years is to squeeze as much as possible from the buyers of new and used vehicles. It will hit the used buyer, the ones who would like something decent but struggle with the cost.
