I have the same issue with some reds. Colors like red and blue can get so much lighter in direct sun, often to a fault. I had an '02 A4 in red that was a nice deep, rich red, until the sun came out and the orange hues with it... Too bright. Hoping I like Melbourne Red or EBII in all lighting...
