What kind of symptoms did you guys have after the drivetrain malfunction?
We were in my wife's 2014 X3 (x35 so N55) on Sunday and as I was about to pass someone on the highway, the car freaked out > drivetrain malfunction > could barely accelerate. Pulled over, waited a little while, restarted and had terribly rough idle, exhaust had white smoke coming out and immediate smell of gas. Car sounded like a go kart. Had to drive about 4 miles home going about 30 the whole way.
Shop says they think it's the HPFP... hoping it's not the whole fuel tank instead.
