Hi all, since servicing my BMW 340i '17 xdrive (mods MPPSK, sometimes driving with Stage 1 BM3) with 50.000 km's has a whining/flute sound when accelerating. The sound is immediately gone when lifting the gas pedal.
It sounds something like this guy on youtube

They say it's the differential bearings.
Quite strange for a car with 50.000 km from 2017, isn't it?
Have checked for other issues already (Visual inspection for cracked things under the hood, there aren't) and the sounds come from under the car. Don't think it has anything to do with the engine. Logs look normal.
Anyone experienced something similar with a similar car?
Update for others with this prolem: i got a bad differential bearring. 3 months out of warranty, but BMW pays 50% of the costs for a complete new differential. Still € 1.400,- though
I wonder why this is happening on a 60.000 km and 3 year old car. Where is the quality?
