I've been rounds with all the local dealers in Charlotte. They all claim their is no recommended service for the timing chain, and that there is no need to replace it, but ofcourse I can bring it in to be "looked over" for a fee. My 428i have 60k miles and ive felt the chain through the oil fill hole. Its loose. Cheapest I've found is 2k around here. I'm going buy the timing tool and kit and do it myself.
