I have no personal experience with PI or that controller, but does it require tapping into the OEM wiring harness? Or is it plug and play? You said "tapped in" but not sure what you meant. Did you disconnect the battery while installing/removing?
The laundry list of electrical errors suggests a wiring issue, or less likely but potentially damage to DME if something wasnt installed correctly.
