Hello,
I'm really close to pulling the trigger on the exhaust conversion for my 428i GC.
However my BMW dealer told me they can't do the install for me because BMW has not homologated the 35i exhaust on the 428i.
They can't promise me that the technical checks (every year after the 4th year of age) will allow it.
Does anyone have any experience with it and as to what is allowed? I know there is something called a "tuningreport" that includes the smallest most ridiculous things sometimes but I'm not sure the exhaust conversion would fall under that..
Any ideas? Really sucks because the next best full 35i-look system with homologation starts at like 1200 euros
