Fair point - I do plan on going down the remap route at some point. This was more of an exploration into what can be done. For £150 on eBay I’m happy for now but will likely go to emaps later.

I too pinged their support and they couldn’t give me more advice other than read the FAQs and experiment.

I guess, as someone has also commented - they are just general maps set up to suit different drivers I.e. where you want the power coming in across the Rev range etc.

I feel comfortable with these boxes as their supplier is DTE chiptuning and they are reputable. I wouldn’t be surprised if DTE just make it all and they just sell them here and hence why they don’t know what the maps do. So they are effectively just a distributor...
