Wrapping the intake pipe might help. You can get self-adhesive thermo-blanket at many speed shops. We used it on a project 10 years ago to lower the air box temps on a power sport engine. If memory serves me correctly, it reduced the airbox self-heating with the engine running by 4-5C.
Might be worth a shot.
