Did this yesterday.
Just download "v2.0.B0.mod" from the first page extract the file on a formatted FAT32 USB drive.
Attach the USB drive to the unit.
Turn off the car and wait for the unit to shutdown.
For me it took like 5min.
Press and "Hold" the Back and button on the iDrive start the car and release the Back button once you hear a click from the unit. (probably 5sec)
The flash process should start.
