If you have a lot of load in the back then the Front of the car lifts higher increasing the height at which the light is thrown which could blind oncoming vehicles. Manually lowering it will avoid the blinding of oncoming traffic.

Interesting. I would think if the Adaptive headlights were programmed right, they would not need intervention. I would also guess the switch placement for reach would not be ideal; but not having one, I end up using the stalk switch.
