This. It's disjointed origami with all manner of mixed themes, inappropriate proportions, and impractical futurethink ... which, IMHO, has no place on a 'retro' concept such as this.

The French occasionally happen upon a genius design idea -- but only after dozens upon dozens of failures. That's its tradition, particularly in this and the last century. French design culture has always been a dichotomy: ultraconservative, elitism- and superiority-steeped status quo in conflict with creative thinking so far outside of the box it can only be described as being as experimental as throwing pasta against a wall to see if it sticks.

At least the Italians know how to make and cook pasta.
