Agreed.
My 2011 Jetta TDI has 241,000 miles and is running strong with zero issues. I'm confident (if it weren't going back to VW) it would continue to run for another 200K miles or more.
Like Uber Commuter, I have a long commute (172 miles round trip daily) and that's what drew me to the 328d. I just bought mine last week with 54K miles on it. I'm confident it will run a good long time with regular servicing. I did see, while on a business trip to India, that the hotels use BMW diesels and have excellent results with them.
