Does anyone have a pic of the Active Hybrid 3 with it's hood up? At the Detroit show it was locked and behind a barrier, while the AH 5 was open for all to see. Why the secrecy? They are claiming it to be the first full hybrid in the compact sport premium sedan segment. Show it off then?!

The M Sport bumper works so much better with the rest of the front end. The standard bumper creates an awkward expanse of painted plastic if you don't have a front plate. The M steering wheel is quirky looking and I think too ornate and retro for the F30 (would look better on a Z4), but just wrap your hands around it and brush your fingers over the metal accents, it's wonderful!

I am quite sure the shipping blocks are still on that one, compare it to the pics put up by Jason on 01-16 of the US spec car at Detroit with the 18s and later put up by me after they switched to the 19s, both are lower. I like the 18 inch wheel style, though it looks a touch too small. The 5 series M Sport has a similar design wheel to the 3 series 18inch, and it is a 19inch. Wonder if the offset will work on the 3series to use that 19inch wheel instead?

Sidebar- I feel the same about the 5series MSport ride height, it floats a bit too high and makes the wheels look small, unlike previous MSports. Perhaps a 0.5 inch drop would fix that, or get the 20inch wheels off the new M5 :-)
