For trip1 also snow played a part as I using smaller streets with some snow and started with cold engine (it was -5C / 23F). I also sat in car with engine running and played with iDrive. I was convinced that this car had more than enough power and also confirmed that I will wait for xDrive in order to put this power to road.
It also made me think that I actually might prefer 328 with more options and better mpg to 335 (comfort is more important to me than lap time on race track).
