I don't see why US tuners are recommending/insisting on the deletion of emissions equipment (presumably, specifically, the DPF) for a regular remap, i.e. not crazy increases.

My 330d has all the OEM hardware in place and is making 350bhp/525lbft, around 90bhp above the published stock output. Zero problems over the 50K+ miles that it's been in this state of tune.

The DPF is there for a very good reason, and there's really no need to remove it if the tuner knows what they are doing.
