My last bmw I got with 140K miles on it because I had to have a manual 3-series and an ugly green one was the only one around. Retired it with 386,321 miles on it. I'm OCD and maintain machines really well.
Cheapest 'and' the best car I ever had. We'll see about this, but I'm planning on getting it up there and treating it right. The other thing about a high mileage bmw not mentioned is that this is a car that someone depended on for many years and undoubtedly maintained...often mostly highway miles. Plus you save $.
I'd almost rather the car you picked than a 2 year old one with low miles from an owner who knew he/she/e/it was going to get rid of it soon on a lease and didn't give a crap about how they drove it.
