I pulled the hose at the water pump, used 50/50 (<2gal needed), then initiated the bleed procedure (I also have a 2013 335):
Close cap on coolant expansion tank and perform the following steps:
1. Connect battery charger/power supply.
2. Switch on ignition.
3. Switch on low-beam headlight.
4. Driving experience switch must not be in ECO PRO position.
5. Set heater to MAX temperature and turn fan to lowest speed.
6. Press accelerator pedal for 10 seconds to floor until pump runs. Procedure takes approximately 12 minutes. (Electric coolant pump turns OFF after approx. 12 minutes).
7. Fill coolant expansion tank to MAX level.
8. Check cooling system for leaks.
9. Remove ignition key and wait approximately 3 minutes before repeating cooling system bleeding procedure, if necessary.
10. When bleeding procedure is complete, close coolant expansion tank cap until marks on cap and tank arrows line up
