Hi, my iDrive prompted a front brake pad change after 32500 km (~15,000miles). When I went for change, the service adviser prompted a change of rotor as well. Costed me a good 1000 bucks for the whole deal.
I am kind of surprised that rotors need change so soon. I mean, these things are meant to last; and changing rotors this early is unexpected.
What is the experience of other drivers? Is it normal to change pads around 30,000 km (15,000 miles) and to change rotors every time with the pads?
