I guess as long as the disc is (a fair bit) above min thickness and you can skim it to a smooth flat finish then I don’t see how any edge corrosion should be a big issue - it can only be surface rust on such a thick young steel part and won’t compromise strength.

Anyone know what the original thickness of a new 370mm disc is?

Edit - duh, its on the datasheet - 30mm

So if min thickness is 28.4, that’s 1.6mm of life.

My pads are all about 4mm - I guess the sensor goes at around 3mm?
