That's really great to know. I really disliked the
clunk and
rough 1st - 2nd shifts in both my e46 and e90.
I don't mind the paddle-shift 8 sp auto in my f30, but man, I would give up a limb to have it in 6 MT. (edit: if I gave up a limb, I probably wouldn't be able to drive a 6 MT. How ironic.)
Had to make some compromises for the wife to be able to drive this car. Worst compromise ever. But I love her.
