Correct but thats GT racing. It's homologation and every car is adjusted to provide close competition. When the Ford came out last year it was destroying everything until the adjustments were made. The BMWs needed the bump this year as they were quite a bit off pace the first two races. I think we are at a sweet spot now with everyone really close.
The M8 will be the new car for next season which we will see at Daytona. Who knows how competitive it will be out of the box and what BoP adjustments will be needed.
Either way, BMW was dominating the last two weekends and it's great to see when everything just lines up perfectly.
