One of the absolute best in the country - but if you're like me, no way in hell we're waiting in line 4-6 hours for ANY type food. I'll let you in on a little secret - the second best BBQ in the country can be found no more than 25 miles or so away from Austin in Taylor, TX - Louie Mueller BBQ. Hands down the best brisket, ribs, and sausage I've found. And, if you're REALLY hungry, you've GOT to try the beef rib. My goodness...

Louie Mueller in Taylor is where Aaron Franklin learned to cook brisket. It's worth the short drive if you can fit it into your schedule. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
