I have the same issue and my car is Canadian spec 2014. Wondering if you happened to do the coding after installing the wheel set without sensors?
I've tried re-coding multiple times without success, but after swapping wheels. I've also noted in Vehicle Info \ Check Control menu there are two entries after I start a reset. One for a FTM reset and another for TPM reset. FTM reset clears pretty quickly while the TPM reset remains until the TPMS malfunction for missing sensors appears after 15 minutes or so.
