Although we may be a new name to most people, we are no strangers to the automotive aftermarket! We are a small team of engineers with diverse backgrounds in various fields and disciplines of engineering, but each of us has a passion for the automotive aftermarket. We are enthusiasts over all else, so we have heard (and shared) your cries for an affordable HPFP solution! After months of R&D, we are happy to announce the world’s first released B58 HPFP upgrade and now followed up with N55! We have provided GDI solutions for a number of years prior to our involvement with BMW. Over the years we have developed very reliable testing standards and ECU calibrations to give you an OEM-level product that pumps A LOT more fuel! Here’s how we stack up against the OEM pumps in terms of maximum fuel flow in cubic centimeters per camshaft revolution:



Keep in mind that these flowrates only apply for pumps mounted on the OEM B58 cam lobe. N55 for example, will have about 6% lower flow rates due to the slightly smaller cam lobe as seen below:



Kit Features

This kit is 100% plug and play. There’s no cutting, no bending, no crimping, etc. This kit drops right in with full control from the DME, just like the OEM pump. All of the safety and sophistication of the stock DME remain in place. Software changes are required to run this pump (the car will not start without the changes). If using MHD or Bootmod3, simply check the box for our pump upgrade when flashing. Otherwise, please send your .BIN file to tuning@dorchengineering.com for the appropriate software changes. This calibration file is free of charge for all of our customers.

Kit Performance

Flow rates don’t lie, but power output capacities for each of our kits can vary depending on the tuner, the fuel, etc. That being said, you can expect our Stage 1 kit to support up to about 600whp and we recommend mixes of ethanol up to E50. For our Stage 2 kit you can expect about 550whp on full E85 and about 700whp on E10-E0. We have successfully run these pumps for the past 6 months with great results, but don’t take our word for it, stay tuned for our beta testers’ results! We will be adding dyno sheets and log files very soon!
