I'm in the same boat as you, (i have all the parts, but no time to do the mod yet). I need the 12v supply also.
But i'm confused, why are you connecting to Z1*10B pin 8 and A34*3B pin 8?
You can get the 12v supply direct from A83*3B pins 1&3 (airbag connector) right at the wheel location as picture below:
