I spoke with Patryk today and he told me that SmartView is fully compatible with iOS 9 now. They managed to get around the software hurdle. Big thanks to BimmerTech for their hard work!
With that taken care of, there's nothing left to wait on, and I'm ready to order.
There's a special Halloween promotion going on that ends tomorrow or the day after (BimmerTech website says the 4th, email said the 5th) that's 20% off the rear view camera (and 30% off Sirus retrofit and 10% off anything else).
20% is the same as the group buy, so if everyone is still interested, we can go with the group buy and if only a few people still want it, we can use the Halloween promotion. This thread has been going on for a month, so let's see if we can get the ten people committed.
If you're still on the fence, chances are there'll be a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal as well (100% speculation).
