So I threw these BMW OEM Blacklines on since I hated the look of stock pre-lci tails with orangish indicators. They looked dated, and also a little tired.
I figured they were half price of regular LCI tails, how bad can they be? Well everyone in person loves these which is nice. This is how they look on a relatively simple stock car in silver, for anyone's reference, and when they are OFF.
When ON, these are a kind of hidden gem in BMW discounted parts line up. I have them coded to be ON as daytime running lights, and they look absolutely superb - the whole lower half of the light is red with those bars dominating, super bright, while top part remains very clean and clear. Dare I say, Euro.
In some funny way it resembles the tails of G20 with that hockey stick red (if you squint a lot).
If you were on the fence but considered to buy but afraid it will look like a cheap trashy civic - don't. they look superb, especially when on.
