I've done all of those jobs myself on my F30 so far, check out Kies Motorsports channel on youtube for some great DIY videos. By comparison, here's my DIY cost:
Spark plugs - $60 + one hour of my time
Oil change - $35 + 40 minutes of my time
Air filter change - $50 (for a lifetime K&N filter) + 5 minutes of my time
